Blog of the FML

If you haven’t noticed, there is a new look. I am in the process of manipulating this new theme for a custom look. I was looking for the three-column thing and like how it uses png files for the windows on the left. I played with those for a bit but cleansed them a bit for the Bucket pictures as they were being sent to coworkers.

New page

I added a new media page for movies and photos that are the super nifty variety. You can always check out the stuff at Revver or Flickr but this is a short cut for the good stuff. I am a little undiscriminating on the movies but will have a custom slideshow for the niftiest photos.

Sidebars

On the left, I cleaned it up a lot. I ditched much of the repetitive stuff and reduced the categories. As far as links, the blogroll is still randomized but the FML links are just down the relevant ones. Added a myspace, story on that later. On the right there is abundant newness. The “Recent” sections are just that for quick glance navigation. Also hoping to possibly encourage more comments from the peanut gallery. I have also added the last five Diggs, the last five bookmarks from del.icio.us and tracks from last.fm (that made obsolete the what we listened to post). Kept the Netflix. Gratuitous knowledge of my media habits. I know.

Moving

Not far actually. But the splash page is bad form and it is too hard to re-explain the whole slash blog thing, especially after explaining that weird spelling thing. So the blog is going to become the whole kit and caboodle. It will just be funkeemunkeeland.com. That will take a little work and some backups; I will have a redirect when it happens though.
