OMFG, this camera looks like it is going to rock. I just bought the HV20 and love it. But I hate the friggin tape. DV sucks, dropped frames from moisture, crinkle whatever. But this HD HD deal looks to rock. Cheap too, 1299 MSRP

This is a great article with the great Rick Rubin of Def Jam fame. It highlights how much the record industry just doesn’t get. It is amazing how much Rubin gets and yet still misses (subscription is answer, wtf). Great read.

Trying out MarsEdit 2.0 versus my usual Ecto (that I have loved but have gripes and am still waiting on 3.0).
Gonna add some links, Flickr and any other junk for a total random post. Feel free to ignore.
Thanks.
PS
I will do a bit more on the difference and which I like, if any one is interested.

News 13 gave a little love to MK this week. The hit on the big change it is to have a home field that really is a home field. Being able to march and play through campus as part of new home game tradition is exciting.
“Up until now, for the first 26 years of the band, every game has been an away game for us,†Band director Ron Ellis said.
I remember loading up those chartered busses for the trip cross town. When ever we went someplace that had a real campus stadium it was amazing. The trip to FSU was awesome, watching the Chiefs march through the student housing and across campus to the game inspired jealousy. We were favorite homecoming rag-dolls for Georgia Tech. I saw the Ramblin Reck parade with the campus excitement and considered moving to a “real” school.
I am a bit envious. Real campus, real games but then one sentence brings me back and reminds that I am glad to have moved on:
Oh, you should have been here during band camp. Good lord it was hot, 115-degree heat index. It was murder out here,†Drum Major Jason D’Amico said.
Nope, not gonna do it ever again. I will stick with the tailgating and the stands.
PS
Ellis, I want my plaque. I did four years, president as two, and they forgot me at the banquet. Embarrassing because I was helping hand them out too. Bastards. I will show up to Alumni Band when they have my plaque.
