Wehn I was a kid I had a little record player with books that include records. Here is a huge collection of tracks from the golden age of children’s recording.

If you get the chance to check this out, It is at Say It Loud, Julio Lima’s place. It is the Big Orange building John Rife and I wrote about at 1211 Mills.
This is the kind of thing Julio hopes will bring a little attention to the creative community that is already established and looks from his piece might have something interesting to say.
Julio Lima’s The City Bloodful
This is actually a reposting of the same video from a couple of days before but now in Revver style for those of us that have Youtube blocked at work.
The dealio:
I entered a contest over the weekend that was describe the what, how and why of http cookies. Goo, bad and the ugly. So I made something on Sunday, stayed up really late squeezing 3:45 into the required 2:00 and here you go. Cookies 101.
The grand prize is 5 grand but the top 5 get a trip to DC for a few days. Nifty, if I get the trip, not bad for one days work.
The contest info is here and the original Youtube group (you can check them out at home).

Here is a short video I entered for the Cookie Crumbles video contest.
It is late right now, will add details later.
It has been a rough week. It is getting repetitive, redundant and other “r” words that might come to mind. Work is strange and tiring, Sam is trying to obtain the ultimate in kiddy status: tubes and our house is screaming for high cost maintenance.
Here is a bit for the familial kind. More random video junk of Sam doing something that only his parents would find crazy cute and want to force upon other people unmercifulless ly. [I do believe that is a word but if not it should be, it has way too many suffixes to not be cool to use]
Behold, Sam telling Mom (Christina) who he really loves.

Looks like the drought in ATL has put a damper on water fun. Including the Centennial Park fountain. It is pure kiddy fun that has dancing water and lights to a bevy of classical music.
I can’t provide the water, lights or crazy, wet kids but you can get your fountain fix below. Don’t you love the intertubes. It is lamost like the real thing.
[hint: I cranked up my iPod and splashed a bottle of water on myself while watching to increase the effect]
