Pho 88 Graffiti Wall

If you have never paid attention to the south wall of Pho 88 you have been missing great and inspired art. They have donated the wall to graffiti artist that have made great statements and whimsical scenes that remind you that the tagging we see on utility boxes is just low rent vandalism. I wish more beige boxes would work with artist like this.

Some of the painters from the history of the Pho 88 wall have also put tags onto other property , including City and County property, in the past w/out permission. What was the inspiration for the picture shown ? At first blush it seems to be a purple cockroach wearing a hoodie.
