Were they asleep, astounded or just blowing it off. This was a weak response and hoped for some written by at least a college sophomore. This response almost made commentators chuckle. Or just holding good stuff for the morning (or fox news)

Issue is close to me, as an educator. There really has nothing but platitudes that appeal to the base of either party. There needs to be a real, practical discussion on education, funding and goals, from either party [I do not consider the dissolution of DOE a conversation]
