Here is quick roundup of the goodness that is the intertubes in related to the web junk for spying on the election results from a computing machine:

The Best/Fun/What I Will Have Open

Five Thirty Eight

While most have dug the Real Clear Politics from the previous go around, Five Thirty Eight is more of the same but from the guy who reinvented baseball’s statistical analysis. By use of poll aggregation, party weights and regression modeling Nate Silver has already proven eerie in his predictions of the primaries and seems to be geared for the same tonight. By the way, he hates exit polls and that makes him better than any talking head. [Also read: Q&A with Nate at CNet.]

Orlando Slantinel’s Twitter Map of Election Buffoonery From FL

We [Floridians] know how to fuck it up on election night. The OS is keeping track by way of twitter. Interesting experiment and will be good watch I think. [I also dig this because this is what newspaper can do that tv can't and they should look at making this front [web] page stuff.]

Election 2008 __ Current.jpg

Current.tv

Okay, so this is a site but you should watch the channel. Mashup on live tv of Twitter, Digg and live DJ Diplo makes for the most user created bit on the list. Mainly Obama loving and left leaning it is a glimpse at the future of total connectivity. Is at least interesting, cycle through as you channel surf.

The Onion versus Comedy Central versus SNL [via Hulu]

Probably the most unrated contest this cycle. Who gets the better punch line out faster. Comedy Central has the advantage for tonight’s results due to the CC’s brilliant group of Stewart, Colbert and etc. But The Onion, in its understated subtle touches and snarky parody, might make for good reads but probably tomorrow. SNL loses only due to the fact their stuff has already played, old message. But will be great entertainment as the talking heads turn to the latest results for Bootlick County, Minnesota.

CNet has a complete [and more educated] roundup. First Read from MSNBC has a few fun facts [like this has been a 726 day election]. The AP has embraced the magnanimous internet and put up live content that will be largely less of the talking head and unfiltered.

For the Orange County, FL local here is the unofficial results for O-Town.
