This is the thoughts and junk of one Tim Welch and his imaginary village of Funkee Munkee Land. I live in Orlando, Florida with my wife Christina and our son, Samuel. Our two wiener dogs, Hanna and Sophie, keep us company in our tiny little bungalow in Colonialtown near Downtown Orlando. Both Christina and I are born and raised in Florida. We have found that we like heat, tourist, traffic and hurricanes. Orlando has them all. We’ll stay for a while.
I currently work with technology in the educational field. I have also taught music, technology and theater arts since January 2000. I graduated from University of Central Florida with a degree in Music Education. I began teaching in January of 2000.
I write for three blogs currently: The Blog of the FML the one you are reading now, Orlando Pumpers a support site for diabetics and insulin pumpers in the Orlando area, and the Colonialtown Neighborhood Blog for the Orlando Sentinel. You can find the latest articles on those on the main page.
I have also been an amatuer filmmaker and the occasional writer. I have more of that on my media page but also check the Confedrated States of the FML for more the random stuff.
You can check out my resume for more detailed info and contact information.
