This has ordained the back wall on the stores near my house for a long time. I wonder if this is the early work of some one. I really wonder about those floating eyes. Are they trying to tell us a profound message about love or just that it was the only direction they knew how to paint the eyes looking? If they paint over it I hope they leave the floating eyes.
Julio is opening up the joint for another art spectacle. You only have one night to get to this one. It looks pretty cool and worth the Saturday night out. Here is more info:

Checked out Brian Feldman’sEnd Of TV, Part 2 at the Big Orange Studio last night. Watched the tv switch to static. Contemplated aliens looking for their digital converter coupon that they were expecting in the mail and then being slightly pissed about the shitty choices. There was good popcorn and no where near the people that promised on their Facebook pages that they were coming. Posers.

I took a photography class at Crealde. First time I had been on the campus.I was immediately taken with the charm and the artistic atmosphere that it embodied. Artistic is usually a foo foo word that almost always evokes a slight gag from me. But this was the way an artistic endeavor looked in my minds eye.
The class was great. Easy, filled to the brim with artsy know-how and worth every penny. The art I saw on the walls of the students was wonderful. I have looked at the class menu for something else. I have a few circled for free time coming up.
All that said, Crealde is showing its age. And simply signing up for classes is not going to help it move forward. It needs a break, a new start that will portray the work inside and make sure that things keep moving for those that dare to venture the art world, if only at its shallowest edges.
Crealde has its eyes set on matching funding that will get done what is a great step in the needed facelift. Matching means it needs to front the portion that isn’t matched. Duh. That is where we come in. The flier is below along with the link. Do what you can. If you can’t spend dough, pass it on and advertise.
Crealde thanks us by putting out new art/artist. And does so pretty well.
