Alan-baby took it to the icy wonder from up yonder. Apparently she started it at her all GOP crowd and paycheck dinner. Whether you agree with Grayson’s politics [I'll warn you, I do] you have to give it up to the man for the circus fun he brings to the politics game. While there is a good amount of hyperbole in his message I do believe that he has been much more effective politician than Palin in her term in the spotlight. He also is out to win the war of words. Alan, or his crew, have the gift
Palin, the former half-term Governor, current-nothing and future-even-less, charmed the all-Republican audience with her folksy folksiness and her homespun homespunnery. Atypically, Palin was wearing clothes that she had paid for herself. At the end of the event, she shared her recipe for mooseface pie.
Really, how can you sum up her existence better than “current-nothing and future-even-less”. At least Grayson’s crack-pottery* is amusing. Unlike Palin’s pontification of nothingness Grayson gets some constructive digs in reminding us of her essence of nothingness.
He even finalizes his “Alaskan chillbilly” commentary in pure artistry.
Scientists are studying Sarah Palin’s travel between Alaska and Florida carefully. They hope to learn more about the flight patterns of that elusive migratory species, the wild Alaskan dingbat.
I repeat, I heart Alan Grayson. [read the full laugh track here]
* [small note, crack-pottery was actually in the spell check dictionary]
For your enjoyment, Democrats are beginning to eat their young. In my opinion for good reason. Never mind the largest major of rule in both Houses of Congress in recent memory, they seemed to fall all over themselves for candy assed excuses to not get a damn thing done. Already forcing Obama to pull one out of the Clinton playbook and steal from the Republicans [which in latin means "no, I'll just complain"].
2. What do you call a dead baby with no arms and no legs wearing a sombrero? I don’t know, but whatever you call it, it’s got about 1,000% more fight in it than these jackass Democrats.

Colbert delves into the psyche that is Glenn Beck. “It is like looking in to a frickin mirror after you have done a ton of coke of it”. Yeah that sums it up. [credit for this one goes to cyberspatialniche]

GOP is infamous for its lock-step discipline, on message drones and unbelievable togetherness when it comes to all things elections. But I have had a hard time believing that Palin is a total hit.

Besides, cracks are beginning to show in the story. The earmark issue is not a reformers story and the trooper-gate seems to grow and get weirder. Here’s a roundup [I don't dig the family stuff though, out of bounds]. It is going to be a long and fun election.
[update, Noonan clarifies her thoughts and makes it sound like talk of old ways]
T. Boone Pickens claims this ad is too hot for TV [NBC actually]. Apparently NBC has refused to play it, wonder what their story is. Anyway, Pickens describes it:
In the ad Boone talks about how the Iranians are moving quickly to vehicles powered by natural gas so they can free up their $120 a barrel oil to sell to us. Boone says: “Get this one. Iran is changing its cars to run on natural gas and we’re not doing a thing here…â€
